
Rev Richard Bodle
Vicar
Following a law degree and various jobs, Richard was ordained in 1998 and served in churches in London before moving to St Alban’s in 2008. He is married to Andrea and they have two young daughters. He enjoys music, fencing, and spending time with the family.
Chris works as a business development manager. He is married and has 3 sons. He and Amanda are actively involved in village life. Chris is a keen cook and enjoys walking and keeping fit to ensure the love of food doesn’t manifest itself around the waistline!

John Dench
Honourary Warden
John has worshipped at St Alban’s since 1950. He was in aircraft manufacturing working on 1950 V-Bombers to the Concorde. He’s married to Greta and has a daughter and two granddaughters. He is interested in politics and local affairs and prefers classical music and opera to the modern stuff.
Rosemary Boosey
Warden
Rosemary spent many years working at Tilhill Nurseries and on the farm where she still lives. Her final job was as a secretary at Beacon Hill School. Hobbies include walking and climbing in the mountains, which has taken her to many beautiful places around the world. She has three children.
Kay Young
Administrator / Music Director
Kay trained as a music teacher at an Anglican college and has taught infants for over 30 years. She enjoys playing the oboe, piano and organ. As well as heading up the music at St Alban’s Kay is also our administrator, and continues to work as a supply teacher in local schools.
Ruth Bacmeister
Pastoral Worker
Ruth taught art and RE, and her teaching career included jobs in Barbados with USPG and at the Royal Naval School. Ruth has been a pastoral assistant in this parish for over 20 years with particular responsibility for Springkell Nursing Home. She has a great love for painting.
Rosemary Wragg
Pastoral Worker
Rosemary has been a Pastoral Worker in the parish for 15 years with particular responsibility for Moorhouse, one of our local nursing homes. She was widowed in 2002, married Peter in 2007 and now has two adult stepchildren. She enjoys walking with her two dogs and also loves Classical Music.
Pastoral Worker
Peter worked in the Finance Industry for 33 years before joining Surrey Police as a civilian Station Officer. He married Sue in 2008 and they have six children and three grandchildren between them. Peter’s passions are the theatre and cricket.
Treasurer
Tanya is a self-employed bookkeeper, working for several local companies. She is an honorary vice president of Haslemere Rugby Club where she is also membership secretary. Her hobbies include singing with Farnham Rock Choir.
